The ultimate full New Zealand back-country adventure ride!
From Cape Reinga in the far North, to Bluff in the far South, this epic 3-week - 6,000km journey will showcase almost everything this stunning and extremely diverse country has to offer.
The tour has been planned with an Adventure riding focus on “off-the-beaten-track” routes including twisty sealed coastal roads, sweeping gravel passes, and even a few rocky riverbeds, plus an awesome experience on hard-packed beach sand - all of which are sure to make every rider have that “smile-inside-your-helmet” experience!
Suited to a wide range of rider experience and ability, from intermediate Adventure riders to experienced Adventure pros. You will be fully supported by riding tour guides, supplied GPS routes, and a luggage van so you can ride freely each day without the hassle of cumbersome gear on the bike.

The Route
The New Zealand Back-Country Adventure Tour is split into two Parts, both unique and fabulous in their own right.
Part 1 starting in Auckland and heading north to the magnificent Northland with its beautiful beaches and native forests, then south to the Coromandel Peninsula. Onto Rotorua with its geothermal areas, the far East to Gisborne before crossing back across the North Island via Lake Taupo to the Taranaki region and coastal townships finishing in Wellington.

A ferry ride across Cook Straight to the South Island kicks off Part 2, where you will be immersed in a stunning array of diverse landscapes from expansive mountain passes, alpine glaciers with stunning lakes, and epic tourist towns and experiences culminating at the finish point in Christchurch.
